Please note that as we anticipate a high turn out and numbers are restricted, this is a MEMBERS ONLY event. If, nearer the time, the numbers are not as high as we anticipate, we will open the event up to member's partners who are not members at the full ticket price of CHF 80.

GAOS is on the hunt for a creative Social Media Manager who knows their way around Instagram and Facebook! If you can turn ideas into engaging posts, create content that gets people talking, and understand what makes audiences click, like, and share, we'd love to hear from you. You'll work as a key member of our Marketing Squad, but also alongside directors, production teams and cast members, bringing fresh ideas to life and helping grow the GAOS community cross our social channels. First project, working on the exciting Chaplin production!

After the roaring success of Kinky Boots, which received enthusiastic standing ovations for every performance, we are seeking proposals for next year's Spring Show.

The theatre is booked! Performance dates will be from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th June 2027. Now, all we need is a direction team with an idea!

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help create vibrant concert programs, eye-catching posters, social media graphics, and other promotional materials that bring our performances to life. Wasn't Kinky Boots a fantastic show? Everyone was blown away by it. But now it's over, there's another show on the horizon to which you can turn your attention. Hansel and Gretel, the pantomime, will be holding auditions in June (see the website for details). But before the auditions, you can come along to HQ on Thursday 11th June, at 19h30, to hear a read-through of the show by the production team. It will surely persuade you to sign up to audition at the end of June. Hansel and Gretel's stepmother has had a spell put on her by the Wicked Witch of the Wood. And, although the story follows the Brothers Grimm basic plot, it is expanded to include all the usual traditional pantomime characters. Lots of laughs and audience participation.

Les Genevoix Concert: June 13th, 20h, Salle Frank Martin

Les Genevoix, the Gay Men's Chorus of Geneva, is delighted to invite you to our upcoming concert on June 13th, offering GAOS members a special 50% discount on standard tickets for the event, with the code GAOS50.

The concert, titled Rise Up - Sois toi-même, will be an evening of music, emotion, and celebration of authenticity, diversity, and price.

Conducted by GAOS member Katie Johnson and accompanied by a live band featuring GAOS's Empi Mörn and Keith Hayward, Les Genevoix invite you to sing and dance along to hits like: Abracadabra, I'm Still Standing, Envole-moi and, from The Greatest Showman, This is Me.

Join us for a celebration marking 55 years of GAOS, with a touch of Gilbert and Sullivan cabaret!

This special evening promises great company, entertainment, and a lively party to finish the night in style.

We'll enjoy a three-course dinner, with a vibrant cabaret, featuring a programme of numbers from Gilbert & Sullivan, a favourite of our late member David Stieber, whose generous bequest to GAOS is funding the evening. Then, we'll end the night on the dance floor with some live music.

Are you a Broadway baby, a West End whizz, or just waiting for the chance to sing your heart out with a group of other musical theatre fans?

Summer is coming, and we're all ready to feel the Rhythm of Life and enjoy Another Day of Sun. Even if the weather's bad, we'll be Singin' in the Rain.

That's right - it's Our Time for the annual GAOS Choral Group summer workshop and YOU are invited!

Under the baton of Chelsea Middleton, you'll have the chance to build your confidence as we blend musicality and singing to prepare a spectacular programme of 13 big chorus numbers from Broadway shows.

A series of six rehearsals will culminate in a public performance at 17h on Sunday 12th July in the Salle Communale de Commugny. Check out the schedule below.

The workshop is open to all GAOS members from age 14+, as well as to our friends from sister societies and choirs, with a small fee towards costs.

All GAOS members are warmly encouraged to sign up for a fee of CHF 50, while non-GAOS members are also welcome to join for a fee of CHF 70.

We're excited to announce the launch of a new GAOS youth group for young people aged 14-18 who have had a taste of musical theatre and are passionate about it! The group will focus on learning and performing songs, including staging and choreography, all while having fun together in a relaxed, creative environment. There may be opportunities to perform, but our main aim is to enjoy singing and dancing as a group. Members will play a key role in shaping the group, with adults there to support and facilitate their ideas.

Our first meeting will take place on Sunday 24th May from 16h to 18h at GAOS HQ. We plan for this to be a relaxed group that meets monthly. As many members will be involved in other productions, meeting dates may vary to fit around rehearsal schedules, but we will aim to keep to Sunday afternoons where possible.

You will need to be aged 14-18 on 24th May 2026 to take part, and there are 20 places available. One of your parents/guardians will need to be a GAOS member for you to join if you are under 18. If you are 18, you can become a student member. This group is open to all young people with an interest in musical theatre, and no audition is required. We do ask that participants bring a genuine enthusiasm for singing, dancing, acting and being part of a collaborative performance environment. Sessions will be active, creative, and largely led by the group members themselves.
