After a break over the summer, we are bringing back the GAOS dance group, with a twist (and shout!)
The dance group will now meet for weekly sessions at 19h30 on Wednesday evenings. One person will take responsibility for leading the session for several consecutive weeks. That person will choose the song and approach.
The approach can be one of many:
- Learning an existing piece of choreography from a musical or music video
- Reviving a legacy choreo number from a GAOS show from years gone by
- Teaching a piece of choreo from a recent/current GAOS show
- Leading a group to co-choreograph a number together.
Starting us off is the wonderful Majbritt Byskov-Bridges who will lead the sessions on 23rd and 30th September.
This will be on a trial basis to see how much interest there is. Please do make an effort to come if this is something you want GAOS to continue!
We are seeking volunteers to lead the sessions for the rest of the year:
- October (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)
- November (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
- December (2nd, 9th, 16th)
Sessions may need to be cancelled if HQ is required for other priorities.
