Music is in the air! The GAOS Choral Group is joining forces in the Foundation Choir's Farewell Concert on Sunday 30 April at 18h30 in the Emmanuel Church in downtown Geneva near the lakefront (see flyer). The programme will feature Joseph Haydn's Nelson Mass, also called the Missa in Angustiis, or Mass for Troubled Times. This work has been called Haydn's greatest single composition, and it is really inspiring music with lots of good choral bits as well as solo work. Several other shorter pieces complete the programme. Bill Heckel will be conducting the Foundation Choir for the last time, and the GAOS Choral Group is pleased to participate in this farewell concert, as many Foundation Choir members are also in our Choral Group.
