The Christmas Show, even more than any other show draws on all parts of GAOS to create a magical experience for members
and spectators alike. This year's presentaion of " Humbug - A Christmas Carol " was no exception.
With a cast of 62, production members bringing the total to over 100 and all seats (c. 4000) being sold before the
first night, Charles Dickens would surely have been proud of such a success !
Ebenezer Scrooge, (David Pittuck) transformed his ways from an old miser to a happy benefactor to great responsive
audiences over two week-ends in November and December.
The hard work done by all the teams - costumes, lighting, sets and make-up, the list goes on. GAOS thanks the director,
Diana Ratcliff, the assistant director, Siobhan Farrell and the Musical Director, Michel Huber for their commitment,
enthusiasm, energy and ability in creating " magic " for Christmas 2001.
